The Association of Finnish Technical Traders’s Battery Section was founded in 1998. Its members represent a significant part of the Finnish market for batteries and rechargeable batteries. The European Portable Battery Association (EPBA) is the leading organization representing manufacturers and importers of batteries in Europe. EPBA operates both inside and outside the EU. The founding of the Batteries Section was an initiative of EPBA. Presently, the section operates as EBPA’s national unit in Finland.
The Battery section operates actively in Finland, and it cooperates with other associations as well as the authorities.
