The Earth Construction Machine Section members are leading importers and traders of earth construction machinery in Finland. The member businesses of the section sell earth construction machines and mobile cranes to earth construction businesses, industry, and the public sector. The value of the business is approximately (€) 150 million yearly.
The section collaborates with The Central Association of Earth Moving Contractors in Finland and the Trade Association of Finnish Forestry and Earth Moving Contractors. It also co-operates with financial institutes and insurance companies to promote favorable conditions for business operation in general. The section works in close co-operation with the Nordic organisations in the industry, and is a member in E.C.E.D. (European Confederation of Equipment Distributors), an international earth construction machine trade organisation.
