The section strengthens the competitiveness, visibility, and operating conditions of a diverse vehicle industry that serves both consumers and professional users.

Member companies cover the majority of motorcycle and moped imports in Finland and play a central role in the off-road vehicle market. Products support both leisure use and demanding professional tasks. Snowmobiles and other off-road vehicles support the daily work of authorities such as the police, rescue services, fire departments, and border guards, while also helping landowners maintain urban and rural properties.

The section actively monitors changes in the business environment that affect a consumer-driven and partly seasonal market. Core themes include road and operational safety, licensing, taxation, vehicle registration processes, technical requirements, and market surveillance. Competition neutrality and responsible market practices guide the work across both motorcycles and off-road vehicles.

The section maintains close cooperation with key interest groups and authorities, including ministries, Traficom, Customs, forest authorities, Statistics Finland, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, the Finnish Road Safety Council, retailers, and the media.
