Process Automation

The Process Automation section member companies deliver instrumentation equipment and systems for the process industry. The most important product and service areas are different measuring devices and controllers, automated systems, valves, and calibration and testing equipment. The solutions and services provided to the industry, such as maintenance and spare parts, form an increasingly large part of the member companies' revenue, simultaneously creating market growth.

Product sales is starting to be seen as a part of the service entity, with other elements being, for instance, information solutions, design expertise, risk management (undisturbed usage, safety, environmental aspects) and the enhancement of productivity in the client company.

The section’s operations focus on monitoring market changes and business environment, such as changes in client operations and the legislation environment. The development projects of the solution and service business are monitored and participated in, if necessary.  Customer surveys support the operation of the companies.

The Chairman of the section is Eeli Anundi from Kontram Oy and Juha Ala-Hiiro is the General Secretary of the section.
